The basis of any purifier is filters. As the rule several different types of filters are used in air purifiers, designed to neutralize various pollutants.
All air filters can be divided into the following groups:
1. mechanical filters (filters of rough cleaning);
2. ionizers or electrostatic filters;
3. carbonic (adsorption) filters;
4. HEPA filters;
5. photocatalytic filters.
Each of them has it own benefits and disadvantages.
