| Types of Air Filters | There are several types of air filters:
• Air cleaner filters are designed to remove a range of contaminants from the air.
• Automobile filters can handle rapid movement of air through a confined space.
• Antimicrobial air filters provides an antimicrobial agent.
• Carbon filters are very effective for removing gases and odors from the air. They use carbon, a natural, non-metallic material
• Compressed air filters are used in a compressed air system. These systems clean the air in workshops and warehouses with help of high pressure air.
• Electrostatic filters charge the dust particles in the air, and then attract them to the metal plates in the filter.
• HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) and TRUE HEPA filters are very effective in capturing a wide range of air contaminants. Their efficiency reaches 99,97%
• HVAC filters are used in an industrial and domestic heating ventilation or air conditioning systems.
• Foam filters, made up of tiny interlocking cells, trap and distribute dirt particles throughout the entire volume of the foam.
• Grease filters are designed for attracting grease laden air away from heat sources.
• Panel filters remove waste paint and dust particles from the spray booths.
• Pleated filters are folded to give more surface area to be exposed within a smaller area of a filter frame.
