| Other Types | Floor-Ceiling Split Systems When a common split-system can’t supply a quality conditioning or there is no opportunity to install cassette one, a floor-ceiling split assembling is recommended. Their power is within 4-15 kilowatts. Original appearance is specially designed to install at walls or a ceiling. The control console may be remote or built in the indoor unit.
Column Split System This type of air conditioners is high-capacity (to 17,4 kilowatt). Usually they are installed in hotel halls, restaurant halls, conference halls and shops. These split systems create strong airflow, directed to ceiling. Then the airflow is spread evenly over the whole building. Usually these models are equipped with distributive jalousie with automatic airflow regulation.
Multizone Split Systems If the distance between outdoor and indoor units is more than 100 meters, and a number of indoor units exceed 5, such units are called multizone or VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) split systems. Possible height drop between the outdoor and indoor units extends to 50 m, it means that the outdoor unit can be installed on a roof, a garret or any other hard-visible place. In addition VRF systems allow using indoor units of different capacity and type at the same time. Total indoor units capacity can exceed an outdoor unit power by 30%. Also the outdoor unit power depends on operating indoor units’ number. It makes the system more efficient. You get the most efficiency if some rooms need cooling and another need heating. VRF split system will just carry heat from room to another. All units are joint by one control system.
