Customer’s features of all air conditioners are the same, but wrong usage protection or negative environment protection features differ. Full control system increases air conditioner cost by 20-30%. That’s why protection systems are almost absent in inexpensive models.
Restart. This mode allows an air conditioner to be switched on automatically, if power supply is irregular. Besides, the device will be switched on the same mode. Almost all devices have this simplest mode.
Filters’ control. Inside filters must be cleaned regularly. Otherwise, dirty filters can cause the air conditioner breakage. For the protection purpose, the filter cleanness system is built in some air conditioners. If filters are dirty, the relevant indicator is lighting.
Freon leakage control. Freon quantity in any split-system reduces in time. It is not hazardous to man. But an air conditioner without refueling can “live” only 2-3 year. This system will allow you not to miss the dangerous moment and save your device.
Current protection. A compressor current sensor allows increasing conditioner’s reliability.
Automatic de-frost. If the ambient temperature is below +5°C, the outside unit can cover with hoar frost or ice. It can cause low productivity or even ventilator breakage. To avoid such consequences, the control system watch operating conditions and watch on de-frost system periodically.
Low temperature protection. It is not recommended to turn on a non-adapted air-conditioner, if the ambient temperature is below 0°C. Some models are turned automatically, if the ambient temperature is low than -5°C.
